We are always looking for new methods to capture and present data in ways which are easy to understand. Our values of transparency, integrity and ethical responsibility reflect a sustainable tradition and innovation which is central to our work.

Jonathan Terry, the founder of Sylvan Resources, studied Forestry at Bangor University and Environmental Technology at Imperial College London. He is a Member and a Registered Consultant of the Institute of Chartered Foresters , the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a Chartered Environmentalist and a Professional Member of the Arboricultural Association. Jonathan is also a Member of both The Academy of Experts and the Expert Witness Institute. Jonathan fell in love with forestry landscapes as a young boy in Wales. His interests lie in holistic forestry and ecological management systems.

       

 

Yewa Holiday has a background in law and education. She has first class Masters in Laws from the University of Cambridge and Sussex University and a PhD in migration law from Queen Mary University of London. She has authored a number of chapters on aspects of migration law. Yewa has taught English Language abroad - in Japan and Spain - and English Language and English Literature in UK schools; she has also taught law at undergraduate and postgraduate level. At Sylvan Resources, Yewa is responsible for the smooth running of the business and creating conditions for expansion. She assists in some of the technical work and reviewing reports, including expert witness reports. She loves gardening.

Sylvan Resources pools its expertise and collaborates with forestry, geospatial and planning consultants, environmentalists, estates and woodland owners, architects, ecologists, nurseries and seed processors, land agents, law firms, archaeologists, landscape architects and developers, surveyors, researchers and research bodies, such as the Centre for Research into Environmental Science and Technology (part funded by ERDF), University Centre Shrewsbury.
